Stuffing food drive Would you like to help contribute to local families Thanksgiving dinners? Signature School will be hosting a stuffing food drive to help the Evansville Rescue Mission in creating their Thanksgiving food baskets this year. There will be a wagon in front of the announcements board in the lobby where you can place boxes or bags of stuffing mixes throughout the week. The food drive ends Friday, November 21.

 

St. Vincent Medical Program Ascension St. Vincent Evansville is now accepting applications for the 2026 Health Care Academy for Medical Professions (HCAMP). This is a free, week-long summer program for students interested in exploring a career in healthcare. The program is open to current high school students in the Class of 2028 or 2029. Conservation Club Join conservation club Tuesday, November 18, at lunch in Ms. Ahmed's room, room 502. We will be making a fun fall craft. Hope to see you there!

 

Science Club Join the Science Club for our annual Egg Drop competition. We will be constructing our egg protection vessels during lunch on Wednesday in KC101. The drop will take Thursday after school around 3:45 with a little time before to make some last minute adjustments. All are welcome, even if you have never participated in science club before!

 

Fall Concert You are invited to an unforgettable evening of music, movement and magic at our Annual Fall concert! Join us as we celebrate the beauty of the season through the talents of our incredible students. This year's concert will feature breathtaking performances by our orchestra, band, jazz band, dance ensembles, singing choir and members of the speech team. From classical melodies to lively rhythms and graceful choreography, the program promises something for everyone to enjoy. Join us in November 19 at 6:00 pm at the Victory theater. Free admission. We can't wait to see you there!

Speech Winners The speech and debate team was in action last weekend, and yesterday, we announced the first and second place finishers. Here's our third and fourth place winners: Fourth place winners are: In P.O.I., Ashlynn Dougan In Broadcasting, Diya Modi In Congressional Debate: Likilha Tummala In Humorous Interpretation, Veronica Rodionova The third place winners are: In Novice Impromptu: Malaak Sassi In Broadcasting: Aneequa Mohammed In Congressional Debate: Isaac Weber In Public Forum Debate: Gentry DeYoung and Om Modi Lastly, we left a few great performers off of our list yesterday. Please give a warm round of applause for Sophie Jamison who placed 1st in novice prose and 2nd overall, and Zachary Rumjahn who placed 2nd in novice broadcasting. Well done everyone. Stay tuned tomorrow for the final placings.

 

Business Club The next Business Club meeting will be today, after school, in the KC Commons. If you have any questions, please see one of the officers.

 

Student Council The Student Council and Games Committee's 2025 Fall Games start today and run for the next three days. Head to the KC Commons or be on the lookout at the Grassy knoll, weather permitting, or in the main building on the 3rd and 4th floors, and scan the QR codes during lunch starting at 11:35. Play the daily game, and submit your score before 12:15, the closing time for the day's game. Remember every submitted entry helps your grade, and higher scores mean more points. At the end of each day, the grade with the best overall participation and performance wins that day's challenge. Games on, be sure to play, good luck, and stay tuned to find out which winning class will take the prize!

 

CAS workday Attention Seniors, Today is a Senior CAS A workday. If you are in Mr. Thread and Mr. Darnell's resource groups, you should report to Mrs. Ahmed's room (room 502), for CAS. If you are CAS B, which is Profe Boyle and Mr. Janusek, you should report to Mrs. Hughes' room in the KC. We will do the opposite on Thursday. Please arrive at both locations with a device ready to work.

 

Chess tournament Signature School will be hosting a chess tournament this Saturday, featuring competitors throughout the tri-state area. If you are interested and have not yet signed up yet, please contact Mr. Ethridge or Parth Patel for more information

 

Math Club Mu Alpha Theta will have a lunch and after-school meeting this Wednesday. Tutoring is back to being held in KC207. Contact an officer or your math teacher with questions!
