Community Service Deadline Approaching Freshmen and sophomores have their first community service deadline in one month. Reflection forms for all hours completed from May 1 to Dec. 3, 2026, are due to Mrs. Atkinson by 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2026. Printable reflection forms are online (https://signature.edu/students/community-service) and in the hallway on the second floor, just outside room 203. Be sure to check Schoology for volunteer opportunities!
Spring Musical Audition Packets Available! The audition packet for The Music Man is now available! You can pick one up at the desk in the lobby of the Main Building. Please talk to Mr. Cook with any questions. Auditions are November 9th, so start preparing and hope to see you there!
PE Ms. Price's 4th Period P.E. will NOT dress out Tuesday. Please report to room 603 for Teen Series with Ms. Bernhardt. Ms. Price's 8th Period will also have Teen Series on Wednesday with Ms. Bernhardt so do NOT dress out Wednesday during 8th period.
NHS Tutors Would you like tutoring in any of your classes? Your peers on the National Honor Society Tutoring Committee would love to help you! Contact Ms. Grant; Committee Heads Jaini Haria and Charlotte Barnes; or any of the NHS Officers in person or via email if you would like tutoring. All grade levels and classes are welcome.
College Visits This is our last week of scheduled college visits! A representative from Western Kentucky University will be here today, Nov. 2.; WKU offers in-state tuition and automatic merit aid. They have top ranked programs in journalism, broadcasting, engineering, nursing, and business. On Wednesday, a representative from the Indiana University Indianapolis will be here; and a representative from the University of Alabama will be here on Thursday, Nov. 5. All students are welcome! As usual, these visits will take place at lunchtime in Ms. Hughes's room, KC 207. Please plan to bring your lunch and be prompt!
Pickleball Club The Pickleball Club will be host tournaments at the downtown YMCA this Wednesday Nov. 4. The tournaments will be teams of two, and it will cost $5 per person to participate. Google Forms for teams will be posted around the school so that everything will be organized for you when you arrive. YMCA members get free admission, while non-members must pay an addition $5 to enter. This is a student-run CAS project, so no Signature School teachers will be present. If you have any questions, please contact Ibrahim Mahmoud or Ashrith Muppala.
