Arcademie The Arcademie informed us that they will only be open for lunch on Wednesday-Friday, so if you would like to grab lunch there, make note of the new hours. Again, that is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday only.
Bio-Olympiad Attention BioOlympiads, Due to a scheduling conflict, there will be no meeting on Monday, Sept. 21st. We look forward to seeing you the following week, Sept. 28th.
Pride Advocacy Club Pride Advocacy Club will be having a lunch meeting Monday in Mr. Wright's room to discuss future plans and prepare for Main Street. All are welcome and we'd love to see you there! Contact an officer with any questions.
College Admission Counselor Visits We have a full week of college visits scheduled for next week! On Monday, Sept. 28, a representative from the University of Evansville will be here; on Tuesday, Sept. 29, a representative from USI will be here; and on Thursday, Oct. 1, a representative from the University of Cincinnati will be here to meet with interested students. These visits all will take place at lunchtime in Ms. Hughes's room, KC 207. ALL students can sign up to attend through their "class of" Schoology pages. Please bring your lunch and be prompt!
Picture Retakes This is a reminder about picture retakes, which are happening tomorrow morning. If you were absent on the original picture day or were not yet enrolled, there is no charge to have your picture taken tomorrow. However, if you took a picture on the original day and want a retake, you must bring $5 in cash tomorrow morning. Please make sure you have your $5 ready and available, or you will not be able to get a retake! Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are recommended to get here early tomorrow morning to take your pictures. Seniors, please wait until you are called down to take your pictures.
Rotary Interact Rotary Interact will have a meeting today at lunch in Dr. Halvorsen's room. We will be discussing Main Street Attraction and baked goods will be provided.
Speech and Debate The Speech and Debate season kicks off with a fun trip to West Lafayette. Our veteran World Schools Debate teams and the novices competed bravely in a four-round debate extravaganza. Congratulations to Charlotte Barnes, Genevieve Purcell, Likhila Tummala, and Akshath Saravanan for winning 5th place overall; and to Adrika Saha, Inchara Patil, Prisha Bahuva, and Havi Yogi, for winning 6th place overall. Special shout out to Brooklyn Jones and Saad Farooq for winning the captains award for debaters of the tournament.
Cross Country Congratulations to the Signature cross country team who raced at the Tell City Invitational today. Julie Nelson earned a spot on the podium in the girls race. Evan Atkinson was the boys race champion! Grant Martin, Gentry DeYoung, Nate Keppler, Peter Ungar, Zach Woodard, and Ian Clodfelter all ran well while earning a second place team finish.
Model UN Model UN will be meet Monday after school in the Koch Center Commons.
History Club Join us for history club today during lunch in room 302 where we'll be making final preparations for main street. Treats will be provided.
Thespians We will have a Thespians meeting this Tuesday, September 29th in Mr. Cook's room. We will finalize the details for Main Street Attractions so please be there!
