Volunteer Opportunity The deadline is approaching to volunteer as an Honor Flight parade escort on Sept. 26. Students will volunteer at a parade welcoming home veterans from an Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C., where veterans have visited military memorials in honor of their service. Parade escorts must complete an online application, which you can find in the Community Service group in Schoology. The deadline is Sept. 22.
Bio-Olympiad Attention BioOlympiads, Due to a scheduling conflict, there will be no meeting on Monday, Sept. 21st. We look forward to seeing you the following week, Sept. 28th.
XC Results A HUGE congratulations to members of the cross country team who raced at the prestigious Southern Showcase on Saturday. Jack Wilbourne crushed his own personal best and school record with an amazing 15:04 - that is three consecutive 4 minute and 50 second miles without stopping! Evan Atkinson came close to Jack's old record while smashing his own personal record. Grant Martin also lowered his personal record by 36 seconds to reach legendary status in the Signature Hall of Fame. Gentry DeYoung, Peter Ungar and Ian Clodfelter also ran at or near their best times to complete the scoring for the best team in Sig's history. Congratulations gentlemen!!
French Club Bonjour French Club! Please join us today during lunch in Mr. Nelson's Room, 605. We will be splitting into our committees, and discussing Main Street ! Delicious French snacks will be provided. Everyone is welcome!
Spanish Club Hola! We are having a Spanish Club meeting in room 303 during lunch today. Bring your lunch and we will promptly start talking about Main Street Attraction.

NHS Tutors This is an announcement for all students who have requested tutors from NHS. We use school email to contact you, so be sure to check your school email regularly. Please contact our committee heads--seniors Jaini Haria and Charlotte Barnes--if you need a tutor or have questions about the program.
Government Club Government Club will meet today after school in Mr. Mota's room. Baked goods will be provided, and we will discuss plans for Mainstreet. If you have any questions, contact one of the officers.
Butler Visit A representative from Butler University will be here this Tuesday, Sept. 22, and a rep. from the University of Indianapolis will be here on Thursday, Sept. 24, to meet with interested students. These visits will both take place at lunchtime in Ms. Hughes's room, KC 207. ALL students can sign up to attend through their "class of" Schoology pages. Students who RSVP are expected to attend. Please bring your lunch and be prompt!

CAS Project - Volunteers Needed Join us this Saturday, September 26th, for a blanket drive. We will be crafting cozy blankets for children at Albion Fellows Bacon Center. This event will be at the Tri-State Hindu Temple from 2-5 pm. This is a CAS project, and no Signature teachers or staff will be present. If you have any questions, please contact Jaini Haria or Adrika Saha! We hope to see you there.
