Speech Meet The Speech team was back in action on Saturday at Bosse High School for the SWIFA speech tournament. Not only did Signature take first place, but there were many students who earned ribbons for their excellent performances. The first place tournament champions were: Aneequa Mohammed, Anshi Bhavsar, Jillian Clodfelter, Evie Wu, Nicole Diab, and Nate Keppler In second place: Orly Troffkin, Gilbert Kumar, Veronica Rodionova, Julie Nelson, Lilly Guerin, Nicholas Fleming, Sam Pfender, Wren Odom, and Lauren Casavant. In third place: Emily Nurrenbern, Yaffa Troffkin, Cecilia Kunkle, Jaini Haria, Gilbert Kumar, Emma Spencer, Janelle Addo, Jillian Clodfelter, Veronica Rodionova, and Leia Reloj In fourth place: Echo Ybarra, Zoe Werkmeister, Kaden Chang, June Mushrush, Basil Melchiors, Rose Schulteis, and Emma Roemke In fifth place: Angelique Jones, Elijah Garrison, Gavin MacLeod, Ashlynn Dougan and Garret Dennis And those who received 6th place in their categories: Zoe Werkmeister, Hattie Barrett, and Kensington Quade A special shout out to Julie Nelson who was voted by the captains as the Speaker of the Tournament. Congratulations team.
Viva La Cultura Attention Students! Viva La Cultura will be hosting a small sweets sale today as a special treat before Valentines! We'll be selling chocolate covered strawberries and cookies during lunch in the Koch Center Commons. All the earnings will go to the Indiana AID. Come stop by, support the club, and enjoy a delicious snack before Valentines day!
