Fine Arts
Band, orchestra, and jazz band meet before school at 7:30 AM. Band and orchestra alternate between A and B days respectively. Jazz band meets on Fridays. Concerts from these groups take place in the fall and spring.
As part of Fine Arts Connections, freshman students spend a semester in the music course. Other course offerings include AP Music Theory Seminar, Music SL, Music HL, Piano Lab, Musical Theatre 1 & 2, and Signature Singers. Play performances take place in the fall and musicals take place in the spring.
As part of Fine Arts Connections, freshman students spend a semester in the art course. Other course offerings include Visual Art 1 & 2, Art SL, & Art HL. The IB annual art show traditionally takes place at the Southwest Indiana Arts Council in the spring.
The dance class meets in the studio on the fifth floor of the Victory Theatre. Dance is offered on pre-IB, SL, and HL levels. IB dance students traditionally perform a flash mob dance at Main Street Attraction.
